You are a paraglider or hang glider pilot who is used to flying away from your home site, ready to set new personal bests. You want to see airspaces along the way and strive to thermal as efficiently as possible. You're ready for the next step in your competition flying and need the instrument that goes along with you. That makes you the pilot for whom we developed the Connect 1.


The Connect 1 has been specially developed for recreational, cross country and competition paraglider and hang glider pilots looking for a high quality vario that's easy to use with sunlight readable screen, robust casing and long battery life. The built-in WiFi makes keeping software up to date easy.


The Connect 1's hardware has been carefully selected for durability and optimum performance.

  • Six pages inside flight app: thermal flight, thermal XL, wind XL, XC, general map, route map (manual)

  • Choice of the flight pages that are displayed in the flight app (Prep - Flight pages)

  • Free choice of displayed indicators on flight pages (tap on existing indicator, "Select indicator" - gives list of all indicators that fit into this field)

  • Display time of the day, including selection of time zone, and automatic adjustment for daylight saving time (manual)

  • Screen lock with the "back" and "+" keys (manual)

  • Airtime as data field

  • Automatic shutdown when battery reaches 0%, to protect the battery from deep discharge

  • Set standard units, which are relevant for all indicators ("Config" - "Standard units")

The Connect 1 is supplied with a stick-on hook and loop fastener strip for attaching to a paragliding flight deck. It also has a screw thread in the back for Flytec hang gliding brackets
